The Black & Decker Brew-n-Go is a no-frills, drip, single-cup coffee maker that ships with a sturdy stainless steel travel mug. The unit is "easy to operate", in the words of one reviewer, and has a small footprint, fitting easily on to most countertops.
The Black & Decker Brew-n-Go coffee maker makes excellent drip coffee and ships with a built-in filter, so there's no need to invest in paper filters on a regular basis.
The unit is speedy relative to the other drip coffee makers that we reviewed (The Cuisinart Two To Go and the Zojirushi Duet), and clocks in at 2 minutes for a cup. It's still a bit slow relative to pressurized, pod-based coffee makers, but 2 minutes should make the grade for most commuters. The unit does not have a "stop-drip" feature to pause the drip when a cup is removed.
Black & Decker Brew-n-Go coffee makers are constructed largely of plastic, and are not exactly sturdy in appearance, but the construction is adequate except for the lid: "the unit's lid is flimsy, particularly when it is warm right after use".
The unit's appearance is, in the words of one reviewer, "utilitarian, not particularly fashionable". It is "compact, looks fine, and fits nicely" on the counter.
The stainless steel travel mug that ships with Brew-n-Go is described as "sturdy" and has a handle in case the mug itself gets too hot. The Brew-n-Go's travel mug keeps coffee warm for about an hour, and is dishwasher-safe.
